To improve and raise the academic levels of Muslim students, Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Karnataka Zone every year felicitates the Muslim Topper of SSLC with the MAULANA AFZAL HUSSAIN AWARD. This year we have included PUC course to further encourage a large segment of students.

A cash Prize of Rs. 5000/- and a memento will be awarded to the topper who has scored the highest percentage of marks in the academic year 2009-10 annual examinations conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board & Pre University Board, Bangalore.

SIO Karnataka Zone requests all the Muslim students of Urdu, Kannada and English medium of all streams like Science, Commerce and Arts to send the Xerox copy of their marks card attested by the Head of the institution with their complete postal address & contact number and by superscribing the envelope AFZAL HUSSAIN AWARD to the SIO zonal office by 10th June 2010
